clinging to a bright cloud

 

 

breeze me with your kisses

knock me over with your scent

i am a willow leaning

toward your love

rooted in the fervor of you

 

growing toward a wisp of intriguing beauty

never aging

even as i grow weary

and sway,

my heart stands firm

in your memory.

"In your memory"... Honestly I think that last switch-up at the end was masterful... Brought this entirely one-breathed poem to a clashing halt, and not a bad clashing... Much more like a firm reminder that wisps have scents as well... Intriguingly penned...
