colors of calm

colors of calm

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

colors of calm

a stifling wind

eases

you breeze into my life

wafting gently toward my heart

clouds part

as we come together,

i love the sky blue of you

halcyon is not dipped in sadness

necessarily,

and rain doesn't need to be unpleasant

if we share the umbrella of destiny

facing any causal climate

with serene stillness.

deeply deeply beautiful... deeply sensitive, deeply profound, Your style is trully special and unique, I don't know any one who can deliver wise message with the simple most gentle and clear way You do, it feels like a breeze wafting over our senses, You reach into places inside the human being with an effective tender touch, Thank You*

“Halcyon”, the kingfisher that calms the seas, as your “sky blue” words calm the weather of the heart. Idyllic, rich with masterful metaphor, iconic write...

Especially loved the second stanza and your title drew me in. Such a serene write, though with a touch of melancholy. I always enjoy reading your poetry, Jacob. (:

Was my pleasure and you are welcome my friend.
The only hint of sadness here is "necessarily."
Cannot deny this special woman's peace-bringing influence on the poet.
A glowing tribute to an amazing person, deep feelings and quality poetry.
