A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Today

and in the last year

digesting the missing you

your sun placates me

Time heals all wounds, but not without a scar to remind us. Short, yet still thought-provoking. Very intriguing!

Short but sweet. You’ve managed to squeeze so much impact into so few lines. I would love to learn to do this as affective lay as you’ve done here. Thanks for sharing this Jacob

when I try to hate, remember 'it' for once (only for the purpose of awakening the anger) and finally get that it was not 'just once' but 'million'..oh I just hate this game..but I love your poem too much..though I like your every words but it has some different reason ..thanks for sharing this wonderful write

This is so powerful...three short lines. We miss our loved ones more in the year of firsts than we do after time passes, but the wonderful memories....the sun....keep us going. Beautifully emotional. Lydi**

A year, already. Where does the time go when it feels like only yesterday you were saying goodbye? As with all your writings, I hang upon your every word, Jacob. Such a touching, moving piece. Thank you for sharing this one!
