sore moons

sore moons

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

sore moons

expectations just amble into sunset

sun bows its head in shameful diversion

some days just arrive with pomp and circumstance

then leave

with little fanfare.

Perhaps the trick is to try to live without expectation? Between memory and ambition there surely must be time to enjoy the moment of the here and now. :) I enjoyed the read.
