A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

writings unraveling

scribble yarn

a tail sewn into a tale

a cat's frantic paw

trying to connect

then gets wrapped up in confusion

love

grows like the feline's nails

fast and sharp

and painful when struck suddenly

the bleed stains the material

the heart reassembled

but never the same

loose stitching

comes apart much too easily.

when its broken, its broken and never the same again whether we are talking a vase, a code, an oath or love... nicely poemed sir, very nicely...

thank you, Neville,
j.
Once unraveled it never goes back the same. Maybe not intended but it makes me think of messy love.
After that first mess is spilled it never quite cleans up the same.
