hate is a shot star

hate is a shot star

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

hate is a shot star

prejudiced b******s

lie face up in the street

as God looks down

and tears smear the blood

of their hearts

Different rainbows

fly in the sky

because the rain admonished

love in cumulus disperse

averse truce

the verses worn out now

coming to an end,

still grudging different

and God still looks down

the blood smear, wider now.

Hi Jacob, this is a real, honest, raw piece of poetry. Deep thoughts, put down in poetic style. The dark and the light are never far apart. Have a wonderful Wednesday....Mike.
