A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Learning Curve

storms are so loud

yet they create eerie silence

afterwards

what was there before

an afterthought

as tree branches

fill the roads

with detours

around life.

Nothing like a great storm to rattle the cages. Break out the new operating systems cause "the beards have all grown longer overnight"...Something tells me you'll have five more of these written before that first dagger of dawn. Love the title! It made me have to swim, at first against the undercurrent of the overall body of work. Well done J. Thanks!

Perfect. Keep writing just like that, please. That was a flawless poem. You write a lot of great stuff, but this really hit me and I loved it.
