in the winter months i sit out early pre pre dawn around 4 or so with the firepit alive and warming
the owls are a magical symphony with their back-and-forth conversation
many times a large red fox comes by and sits on the perimeter of light and it listens while i talk
there is an abandoned barn behind my piece of the woods where each spring 2 or 3 females raise their kits
a never ending nature documentary

this piece brings joy of remembrance ... thanks jacob

Timid creatures really seen in the light. I see many coming home from work in the early hours and it makes sense because the rabbits are about at night.

You dare the Fox to dance in the sun. You incite the sun to lift the Fox. You dance with the fox in the light of bravado. You spin the sun to catch the fox's tale. The things we can do with our pens! Write on ...

Red foxes....I remember seeing them sunning themselves in our yard in NJ. They are quite graceful. Great scene conjured here. Lydi**

Such a wicked cool image you invoke with this; the red foxes dancing and spinning around the sun. They say those foxes are sly and elusive. Maybe they can catch the sun where others have failed. I enjoyed! F.

You gifted me a scene of delight Jacob. You took me somewhere else entirely for a few moments, and how I enjoyed that. Love foxes. We have visits in my street late at night, we are very near open countryside.
