for emma (who appears in perfect poetic stance)

for emma (who appears in perfect poetic stance)

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
"

dedicated to Emma Joy and her beautiful images of nature.

"

for emma (who appears in perfect poetic stance)

egrets dancing 'pon a glassy dance floor

waves cutting in rudely

they ignore,

partners exuberant in flights of busy conversation

the music may be imagined

or maybe there is a symphony

carving its groove in a cumulus moment

Oh, they talk

they dance

no regrets

from the egrets dancing 'pon a chime of relevancy

tolling midnight

when everything changes back to what it was

before the first notes

when nature lived without man

and just sang in the shower

at the top of her lungs

free at last.

at first

and most definitely, at last.

Truly embodys Ms Green's implicit
entanglement with the endless
power of emotive delicacies
she masterfully emits.

Deep and beautifully justified.
Sir, you never fail to impress.

what a wonderful, dedicated poem for Emma Joy.... you capture her creative spirit and invite others to see the beauty she created with her writing... your poem is inspired and inspiring Jacob and invites everyone to experience her in her nature and natural surroundings, or as you say, "in her perfect poetic stance"...

Magnificent nature, where the Egrets soar, sing and dance to an imagined symphony ( or not) this is the perfect before MAN got his filthy hands on it….
Untouched by greed and progress…..before poetry could Penn what was….we all await Emma’s return to read her incredible poetry, log before our universe was tainted.
Best, B

I read your poem before but just now I had time to review it.

I hope emma will return soon to read this original beauty. primal nature when there was no men, "they talk, they dance, no regret... " some of your lines flow with emma's spirit. This is really beautiful Mr. J. Thank You.

Now there's a phrase to reflect on. When the planet was not compromised by the greed and thoughtlessness of our own species, intent on wrecking our home. A lovely dedication to Emma Joy.
