filled with white elephants

a bare mountain canopy

ivory clouds

an expensive franchise

 

God's circular motion

as the earth endures

black rhinos scamper

no rain allowed

a woman's irony

 

the man understands

and smiles

feels a few drops

hit his shoulder

hears the echo splinter the sky

Creative and contrasting imagery here j. No rain allowed, and yet there has to be rain. Drought isn’t good. Tears are a release.
