Atlas Imagines

Atlas Imagines

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

Atlas Imagines

flamboyant chatter

nervous narcissist

curtails truth

in cul-de-sac fashion

trapped alone

sun parts orange logic

he squints at the moon

in the dead of night

thinking the world is his

when the reality is

it spins on its axis

counter clockwise

to his fading dream.

Some sit back and hope things get better, some step up and try to make things better regardless of what those sitting on their arses might think. I have always looked forward to the day when the color of someone's skin wasn't used against them, even if it is purple.

Very clever, I know what this one is about, let's hope we all make it out okay...

Oaft the second half of your poem is such beautiful imagery.

…spins on its axis
counter clockwise
to his fading dream

That’s the magic right there, sir!

A brilliant take on Orangee and the famed Atlas; Atlas might have a crazy competition. Hehehe

Orange logic LOL. Yes, Atlas knows this world is his, one way or another. ~Jim
