INVIDIA

INVIDIA

-
Adolescent blood falters through veins.
Vows stain our lips in our shared breath,
a shallow breath...
that of a promise unkempt.

Iris' meet sealing our fate.
Ever so bashful boasts foreshadow
the we might succumb to this secret sin.
A stolen embrace; a quickened pace, returning again.

Hunger your hand be woven,
entangled with my own.
In-out coterie...
Drawing my defenses,
anticipation stirs under my skin.

Architect,
Draw from my cheekbone,
to collarbones,
to waistlines.

Such an urge was dormant,
So still before this;
Now an unyielding fire
in this hint of due time.

Trembling, this reverie
dawns back to --just that.
I move for the door
lamenting, cursing... curious.

Farewell?
Your eyes imprison mine
squaring in on our demise.
The twist comes full circle.

Only demons fancy
angels far so from grasp.
Then herein, a demon I must be!
To dream of such a lover!

My thoughts are pierced,
and your essence bleeds through.
As a maiden to her prince I bid thee,
Farewell, gaunt angel.
