Rough Draft - Phase 1

"
My love is blind, you see...
He cannot see your smile;
But he can hear the truth and lies
that lay behind your style.

His path is bent and beaten,
as much has been off trail;
No guiding light above,
he ventures out of hell.

He feels the ebb and flow of time
meeting art and logic in his mind
a masterpiece as god intends
his vision knows no end.

Curses loud as demons preach,
their judging eyes are none to teach.
As danger and secret they do appear,
to the all seeing, gentleman's ear.

Freed from the woes of a split mind
he extends a new vision for mankind.
Fellowship to all left cast astray
that one may blindly see their way.

Find joy in your life again,
know the darkness you are in.
May you lift this veil of disarray,
heal your mind so love can stay.

You needn't eyes to see your part.
It lies wherever you start.

Rough Draft - The rhyme scheme is not consistent. I hope to redraft this soon.

I like the darkness of this draft, when you read the first line it seems as if it is going to be a warm love poem. I like how it transitions into a darker piece.
