Noodle

Noodle

A Poem by Barbara Walker

I know a writer named Noodle,
she likes to write oodles and oodles
of great rhyming poems,
with outstanding rhythm
and flow.

Readers aged many different years
give her writing many many cheers
in their many reviews
and you can see
she's a leader.

I was very surprised to see
that she is much younger than me,
her poems reveal the truth
more than any writer her age,
usually does.

Knowing her on Writer's Cafe,
makes coming back
here everyday
a very welcoming,
pleasant lure.

So, my friend,
this poem is for you.
I know it's simple,
but it's full of love
for you to know.

Another tribute to Noodlehead requested for me to read by - herself. She has quite a few by other authors all around Writer's Cafe - and that's fine. :)

Currently my favorite from the collection (which I bookshelved as I liked it so much) can be found HERE:

A sweet tribute to a sweet and very talented young lady.
She is wise for her years, but her youth shines through her writing.
She is a joy...
