Everytime I throw you out

Leave you and go far behind

I hide in all the weird places 

You find me and act so kind...


The valentines and birthdays

The happy and stressful days

Everytime I find myself in trouble

You are there, through my struggle...


As always you have come back

Now we are back to square one

I dont know why or how you do it

Surprising, how we get back together...


I push you away time and again

But you are a stubborn creature

You find a way straight to my heart

How is it that I could still stay away...


When you are there all around

Yelling your devotion and loyalty

I found you again embedded in my

Thoughts, dreams and deep in my heart............

This is a really well written poem about on and off again relationships. I absolutely adore the title "ENGRAVED IN ME". I think it fits perfectly with the theme and wording of this poem.
