You should try Japanese poetry like Haiku, Senryu, etc. if you really want to see the magic of short poems. I have dabbled in some, let me know what you think of the format.

And thank you for not alluding to a jeans... faded blue seems to be the only colour people associate with it!!

Beautiful! The first line line suggested that he could be a stranger.....though the time it takes to achieve that blue colour via washing, may suggest he is not unknown at alll......LOL....I like to guess at possible meanings.....and if your words get readers to do that......then you succeeded! :)
