What if you and me just halt for a day

And succumb to the stage of Holophrase?

Simple,fixed expressions

No need to articulate indelible expressions.

If you just say "kiss,"

I will kiss you all over.

If you just say "touch,"

I will give you different sensations.

If you just say "food,"

I will surely order a pizza any hour

If you just say "bed,"

I will hurry to make love every night.

Life's already complicated

Let's make it simpler!

Author's Note

Holophrase is a psychological stage in infancy where a child says small words to reveal big sentences hidden behind.In short,the child says something longer and bigger by just using a word!

This FCB is a simple yet complex piece. The title and the layout betray a deeper sentiment. The typeface used in stanzas one and six suggest a raised voice a demand for attention. So an anger and lack of tolerance towards the 'loved one'. If someone wanted me to regress to the stage of a toddler in a relationship I think it would insult my intelligence. And most women I know would throw me out if they wanted to eat and all I ever gave them was pizza lol!

True. You cannot regress your sentences specially in a world like this today.
But, the whole point was to emphasis on communication power and understanding in love. Of course, pizza refers to different delicacies here:D

I was holophrasing xD - but it went down like the proverbial lead balloon lol.
Yeah I thought it was good - it very very good. I had to look up the phrase and I was very intrigued. I thought it was a very clever piece FcB. :))
But I have to work on my delivery it seems xD
