Her first step

Her first step

A Poem by fattycbreezy52

Amidst those incense-bearing flowers,
And the joyful glee of mother nature,
Every first step taken by you,my child
Will lessen all my troubles.

hey!! what about Dad's !!! ;)

you remind me of the first steps of all my children .. the process from scooting backwards to crawl to stand ... and the encouraging hands held out ... all precious memories .. so thank you for that .. my children are all in the 20-30 range so i have been caught up in parental worries about decisions i have no control over any more :) but the hands are still outstretched and the encouragement always available .. one of the things i especially like about your poem is the ongoing life expressed in your third line "Every first step ..." not just the first physical step .. nice one! very much enjoy where your poem takes me

Simply a beautiful piece full of love and truth FCB. You display the selflessness and dedication of the one who bore the birth and suckled the infant and who will shepherd it to adulthood and beyond.

This is so tranquil and wise my friend. A wonderful sentiment that makes one think just how many such milestones go to make a childs journey to adulthood.
