Bread

Bread

A Poem by fattycbreezy52

The marginalized brownish black in your periphery
makes me cry and moves pity and terror beyond any scene,
ancient or modern with which I am acquainted.
I had seen you in that Kissan Fruit Jam advertisement and
blushed at the mere
prospect of bringing you home.
What grams and what other units of weight?
Look bread,
I brought you a good and "fresh" partner to interact with.
No matrimonial sites and no dowry to pay.
You got a beautiful bride,
all groomed up,
clad in pinkish-red.
Your soft surface is what she will sleep on and snore on the wedding-night.
Your hardcore brown is what she will break apart.
Will soften your existence,
every now and then.
Will save you from the wounds inflicted by the timeless and and occasional fungi,
Stand against all the odds -
Shut up!
Let your wife do her work;her magic.
Because an intercourse is required to make way for a beautiful life on earth.

and what good bread is not bejeweled by the jam ... i love the smell of bread but am not much of an eater of it ...raspberry jam on Italian, however, is my choice for a piece when it is heated to just about fever temps .. its consumption putting things over the edge ... i think this is wonderful reading .. closing lines touch a soft spot i have for my Norma :) such a fine mind you have!
