"Universal Troops"

"Universal Troops"

A Poem by Floundering About

Yes, the song is called “Universal Troops”.
Everybody bleeds
Yes, “yes” yesses throughout the patio,
Everybody gives
through every body.
Everybody takes

Yes, some bodies are more every than others:
Everybody keeps
the everyest body reveres the singing body,
Everybody’s up
admiring his every.
Everybody’s down

Yes, she believes in every.  He sings every
Everybody loves
body dances.  Well some do--the everybodys,
Everybody falls
but they are everybody now, grooving on the universal.

Everybody feels
But specifically she feels.
No, she needs.
Everybody feels
Without need, no
body feels
nor feels body feeling.

No, nobody needs.
Everybody whispers
No, nobody needs to need,
Everybody talks
but when they do look at the every yessing brightly from no
Everybody screams
body.

Author's Note

Floundering About
I'm not really sure the comedy of watching a new age sense of community get up and dance came through... I guess it's an anthropological comedy of watching one person watching--in other words I presume to see her seeing the performer pleasure (feeling), which I presume to be entirely constituted by her seeing.
