pointless addiction

pointless addiction

A Poem by freelancejouster

i have this aching feeling
that i'll spend a great portion of my adult life,
curled in an uncomfortable chair
in front of a computer screen
scrolling through page after pointless page
of meaningless information
and cliched pictures

searching for something that i've probably
accidentally scrolled past already.

:)
I have that feeling everyday. I'm so busy looking, that I miss the overall view.
Forest for the trees stuff.

And, I have the feeling that your adult life will be a beautiful thing, filled with brilliant literature and laughter and, who knows, perhaps even dancing. ;)

Love the piece.
But, remember the wisdom given by old guys like me,
NEVER kill the party before you get there.

I love this. I feel your pain. I love how this is a light subject made deep. Don't change a thing; nothing is missing.

I got the message, don't change it.

I don't know, it seems like something is missing from it.
