A Poem by Frieda P

Hanging by the noose
cryptic farewells penned
that last breath of words

never wraps up loose ends

Very powerful, I liked how much emotion was contained within such brevity. Must be the pain inside someone committing suicide is so great that they feel rushed to the act, and such complex emotions would probably be very hard for them to pen in many cases....but for sure, a note left behind is never an equation to describe the properties of the soul (i mean soul in the secular sense)

It's true...suicide notes generally raise more questions than answers. Very powerful write, Frieda.

Is anything ever truly finished? I liked this very much and compliment your word selection. Excellent work. Myrna liked it, too, but she thought "noose" was a long nose and couldn't understand anyone hanging by their nose. But that's Myrna.

Thank you for the read.
You've pulled the chair right out from under this one!! We have to say it, do it, plan it, etc, etc. and move on! Loose ends are dangerous!
(And, I really like the image)
