Déjà vu

We are given breath, we die

what fills those pages in between

are the complexities of life

 innuendos of an oblique allusion 

Kismet, fate, or some divine intervention

the paths we take are sometimes vague

is this all predestined or do we 

as humans, determine our fate

Has it been written in the stars long ago

on some crystal clouds or tissue paper,

should we abjure echoes of past?

Is Déjà Vu the very life we've repeated

felt beneath the soul's intrinsic liquid

like hot lava that bubbles and churns

I muse if life is preordained

I believe in Déjà. A lot of my dreams happen in the near future. I believe we use parts of our mind only. I like your description of a common skill most of us have. We just never attempt to use it. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Questions, questions -we have so many questions! Gee, seems like I've thought that before....lol
Interesting thoughts "on some crystal clouds or tissue paper", but then again it could be sweet tarts on cardboard, and then again.....oh Butter Fingers, I know I've heard this, seen this, thought this, imagined this all before! Or did you think it, write of it, - I just know I've been there too!!
