Déjà vu

We are given breath, we die

what fills those pages in between

are the complexities of life

the innuendos of an oblique allusion 

Kismet, fate, or some divine intervention

the paths we take are sometimes vague

is this all predestined or do we 

as humans, determine our fate

was it written in the stars long ago

on some crystal clouds or tissue paper,

should we abjure echoes of past?

Is Déjà Vu the very life we've repeated

felt beneath the soul's intrinsic liquid

like hot lava that bubbles and churns

I muse if life is preordained

Deja vu is a very interesting subject to write on and the questions you raised here have been intriguing men for ages. I believe in past life and repeating situations that bring on deja vu. Loved it.
