this is so tough...i had a friend years ago who got raped...she would never report it...just lived with it afterwards...and i know it always haunts her...but sometimes trying to prosecute the one who did it puts the victim through more pain, guilt and scrutiny that she does not deserve.

in ways, the bad guy wins not matter what.

So true jacob, on the survivor site I'm on, you would not believe what the 'victims' are put through, the perpetrator has more rights...many times these rapes go unreported due to these horror stories. Thanks for the read...

No words could have been said any better. Rape is a combination of those deadly sins... lust, greed and probably pride. It preys on the innocent and feeds upon the victims anguish just to amplify one's twisted ego. It's cruel and disgusting.
