Children should come fully equipped for parental totalitarianism. On "Star Trek: Next Generation", Data, a droid, has an on/off switch. A handy parenting tool. Evolution typically shows no sensitivity to a simple mutation, morphing fast enough to be of use by us. In my house, if the kids earn compliments, that is because they are good kids. If they fall under the anvil of the principle for flagrant disobedience of Serious Rules, then that is my fault. A bitter pill indeed. Cleverly noted thought provoking piece.

Whenever we played Charlie's Angels when I was a kid I always had to be Sabrina because my best friend Robin had blonde hair and my sister's name is Kelly...also because I had the same hair cut as Sabrina, I guess.
