Beyond Ambiguity

A peaceful communion ~ quote by RUMI is one of my favorites.

Come sit with me in fields of poppies

where collective thoughts can be free

we are capable of peace & tranquility

beyond a tortured existence 

acceptance is the key to deter conflict

stepping further aside good & evil

 the lines of societal ambiguities' affronts

Herein lies a gracious communal of harmony

Hear the doves coo, where music plays in the heart,

                        we'll dance in these fields together...

Poppies For Peace. A movement that would have us lying in fields of poppies. I do believe we tried something like that in the 60's. Unfortunately, the pipe was passed but not everyone took a hit.

World peace. How sweet it would be.

In the midst of turmoil and strife and grief, i think the whole world is crying out for solace in this quiet field... if only we could silence all the voices crying out for war, and show them. but perhaps the only way is to carry this solace within ourselves, and share it with those we love, and maybe then we will have the strength to weather the chaos together. well-written and deeply insightful. and bonus points for the Rumi quote--I am incredibly fond of those.
