Beyond Ambiguity

A peaceful communion ~ quote by RUMI is one of my favorites.

Come sit with me in fields of poppies

where collective thoughts can be free

we are capable of peace & tranquility

beyond a tortured existence 

acceptance is the key to deter conflict

stepping further aside good & evil

 the lines of societal ambiguities' affronts

Herein lies a gracious communal of harmony

Hear the doves coo, where music plays in the heart,

                        we'll dance in these fields together...

An awesome poem and quote from one of the mystic greats Rumi. I like how Rumi and you in this poem speak individually but it applies to humanity in general. We have to compromise , meet somewhere where we both or each find love and serenity...A splendid one...:)

An indeed... I have to say Frieda of all your many splendid poems I've read and reviewed, this one to date has impressed me most, a work of poetic art ! Profound and prophetic in wisdom, it counsels a meaningful message, to step back from the hussle and bussle of daily life with all the worries that brings, find a quiet, serene place to ponder, be accepting of what is and what has been before and enjoy the present!
