Sadden'd violin strings

Sadden'd violin strings

A Poem by Frieda P
"

~whispering unto raven's breath

"
 sadden'd violin strings
     wreak havoc
         in the torrid rain
 pouring out flutter of hearts
        within melodic aqueous bliss
   whispering unto raven's breath
      dancing upon fire 'tween
           the dewdrop'd baubles
   splashing in spirits of darkly
         relentless melancholy echoes

I love Lindsey. I have been a fan of her for a long time. Beautiful artwork and amazing poetry. I like the way you led the reader into a calm sadness. The violin played with skill. Can steal our heart and mind. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

No problem! I love that word too. I use it a lot.
The imagery here has taken a slight detour form your usual "landscape" like prose, here I find myself in a dream state and I don't want to leave!

Grazie mille B, was just visiting your page, where you been hiding out? :-)
And yet, the gutters flush out the old
The clouds dissipate
Leaving us with syncopated breaths
As we await the new.

Thank you sweetbind, love your poetic response.
This spoke to the worn violin tucked away in the corner of my psyche.

I understand that exactly Travis, thanks so much.
A storm of rain accented by the melody of a violin, a beauty derived from morose situation. I liked the meaning you bring out, well done.

Thanks so much Shaquana. :-)
I really loved the video. Wonder if it ruined her violin to get it wet like that.
