In this stillness...

In this stillness

      where no breath is audible

where violaceous storm clouds  

           seize the night

beseeching a calmness

                      in its intentions

when compassion flows  

                   into crevices of pain

and grace takes a giant stride

                       in man's footsteps,

star's align in perfect symmetry

                              of truth's authenticity

& genuine purity of friendship's

                          faithfulness never falters

in the ether'd dust particles amidst 

               mankind's rising dawn, 

that's where I'll meet you halfway

                         'tween moon's amber light

Still partaking in friendship even when nothing is needed, still feeling the bond with them despite no necessity for them, and enjoying the presence of a companion in the neutral stance, and enjoying every minute of it.
