Waxpoeticparadox

Waxpoeticparadox

A Poem by Frieda P

Pressing the limits of sanity

consenting to a deep fix

engrossed in past filings

oblivious to ebbs & flow

wax poetic as darkness looms

blue funk's fierce trepidation

hearts frozen in the past

masking pain with a smile

dancing alone on a wire

the world moves forward

with/without verbose words

tear the roof off the sucker

awaiting a chef d'oeuvre

scavenging for a new reality

foreign enigma unto self

neverending disclosure's finale

catch-22, out on a limb

anomalies' absurd relativity

an inexpugnable defeat

lost the plot in a vise grip

meekly accepting fate

running head on to consent

multitudes of quantum leaps,

confining self made prisons

free as poesy's wing'd exhilaration,

exhaustive paradox of revelation

Running head on to consent. Standing at the door wondering, do I go out? Do I face what waits with a smile that hides my true feelings or do I just set the deadbolt and hope for the best. My sweet friend there are a lot of bolted doors that offer something...steps that lead somewhere...perhaps a catch 22 situation or perhaps a pathway to what ever you heart desires.

I read you everyday. I look for little hints that happiness waits around the corner but regardless of the message I find I know that a gift awaits my eyes and my mind in your poetry. I can assure you...if your poetry was waiting outside my door...no locks would be needed because that door would never be closedd

Amazed i am in your poetic waxings.

100 brass dead bolt keys.

I'm kind of speechless with this one.... I really don't know what to say, you blew me away as always. I loved the imagery and wording of this one. You always seem to blow me away. I think I need to tie myself down to the chair or maybe use superglue... one or the two, aha.

I like catch 22, being between a rock and a hard place, tell me am right. I so enjoyed this. I love each of your poems and really missed being back. Thank you for sharing

I like to think that every syllable counts but the change may only be a small as a butterfly wing beat. Anyway, that is what I tell myself. One splendid line to the next in this poem.
