Breaking bread's communion...

Breaking bread's communion...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

just a thought in a scribble

"
I dreamt a captive dream,
    of spaces 'tween the rain
where sinner's pain was lifted in
  deliverance of acceptance's intoxication
         &
 wine was merely
    'in vino veritas',
 sans holy water's baptism
     a world created within integrity
         of each and everyone's beliefs
            blessed in compassion's kindness,
                simplicity of moment's
                   in breaking bread's communion

I've said it countless times before love, and will say it every time you attempt to qualify something as a 'scribble'...you are incapable of scribbles...I'm not sure how many times I can reword these sentiments, but every time you pick up a pen, magic ensues...it's just in you, and it happens whether you are conscious of it or not...and you know it would take me days to write something this profound...I can write about myself in a night and produce something quasi-decent, but to compose these kinds of observations is quite possibly beyond my abilities...and don't roll your eyes till you stop to consider how many of these types of things you see from me ;)

I dreamt a captive dream,
of spaces 'tween the rain...you had me sighing from the start with those lines...yes, we may be dreamers, but we're not the only ones, we're just not all as amazing a poet as you are :) xo

And what a dream that must have been. That sounds like paradise. Must be what heaven is like, if there is indeed a heaven that we ascend to when we are no longer on this plain. Acceptance of everyone and their beliefs would truly be a thing to behold. If everyone had this same philosophy their would be so much less strife and hatred in the world. Really lovely sentiment my dear friend.

Breathtaking Frieda! You out did yourself here! So much beauty and peace in one small poem. An angle was guiding your pen with this one....this really touched me and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing. :)))......

Well, wow, Mama F... What can I say that I have not said before. Each time I read you, it's like I am lifted to somewhere safe where no one can harm me and I honestly never want to leave. You write with such eloquence no matter the topic, you've rendered me speechless once again. This is out of this world.

Flip flops & all that jazz!xoxo
