Stay Alive

Stay Alive

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

Where I stand, I'm not sure

I am looking for that cure

The one that heals the heart

From falling the f**k apart

I claim disbelief, but I prayed

Just to appease the soft parade

But the believers and the

non-believers, the hardest to

the nickel and iron core

just kick me in the balls

and watch me fall to the floor

You p***y, you piece of s**t!

Take a page from Don Henley

and get the f**k over it!

Or take a page from Denis Leary

and Shut The F**k Up!, and

stop making your eyes so bleary

Pick a f*****g side, and

stop jumping the fence

since you are making the

children mentally dense

Get past your s**t,

and stop yelling at

the world or else

you'll be eaten alive

like the critical

piece-of-s**t swine

that you are

The world doesn't take

kindly to people who

make poor professional

and personal choices

I should take their advice

and just shut the f**k up

and move on because the

opportunities will present

themselves in due time

You do what you

can to stay alive

I strongly feel that you should say, do, and be whatever YOU want to feel happy. Not everyone will understand you or like you, chances are they're the true outsiders to life and you've been on the inside with answers all along, the key. While you're feeling awkward and positioned strangely in the mind throughout a funk, that's when you're most active in utilizing your true potential. You can be this amazing, hard working, celebratory person if you remember to hold onto the facts. Serve the world the papers, here on out it's YOUR time to shine. They say you're being ridiculous, pathetic, wasteful of moments? They're the ones cherishing nothing. Living life to the fullest starts through dedication. You'll be on trial, judged, but none in comment will hit you as much as what you lay down in law on yourself. You're both the cruelest executioner and the kindest salvation. You are absolutely correct, you do what you can to stay alive.

I sense you were very angry when you were writing this. Anger is one of the best emotions to write through. Great write.
