Ambush Evangelism

Ambush Evangelism

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

ambush evangelism,
or was it?

the atheist asked and
so he received, so who
is the guilty party here?

what do I make of
this man as he showed
me his jovial and kind side?

should I see him as evil
or just misguided?

truthfully,
i see him as neither,
just as a human being
trying to make the world
a better place.

the propaganda he
spreads is both
laughable and virulent.

he's not the problem,
but the virus he carries is.

but is it really a virus,
or a beneficial bacteria?

if there's a hell,
then the message is
beneficial for my
eternal soul.

yet, where is the evidence
of a soul, hell or its polar,
eternal negation?

either way, it's a gambit no
matter the outcome.

I have faith, and i pretty much try the less talk and more action policy. What works for me does not necessarily work for everyone.
Excellent perspective in an excellent poem.
