Friendzone

Ok, the guy I really like friendzoned me and I don't know how to express what I feel except through writing. This is for all the people who got friendzoned by the person they like.

Dude I like you more than just a friend

But why do you want my feelings to end?

Let me ask you, are you really that blind?

Can you not see I’m the girl you’re trying to find?

 

Remember the day that we first met?

As if the Lord God had made it all set?

Remember the jokes we shared and the memories we made?

Do really want all that to vanish and fade

 

I like you so much but it hurts me inside

To know I’m just your friend and never be by your side

What’s wrong with me, am I not pretty enough?

Or do you think what I feel is a joke or a bluff?

 

I know in your eyes I’m just your pal

But sometimes I wish I would be your gal

I dream you would cherish me day by day

And hold me tight and never dare go away

 

I can be your best friend and also your lover

I can be anyone you want but don’t tell me it’s over

I understand you more than any other girl

I understand your dreams, your hopes and your world

 

But dude let’s face it, you can’t change what I feel

You can deny all you want but I know that it’s real

So please choose: do still you want me to stay

Or destroy what we have and then I’ll go away
