Land of the dead

Land of the dead

A Poem by Mad Hatter

We once loved

One time ago

Our hearts were whole

Just like yours

Drink up my sweet

Cause world is yours

Our castle was strong against what was unknown

But I still lost my heart

Down in the pit

And I let the flames lit

As darkness will arise in the midst

I follow the dead star in the mist

Within the graveyard lies my grave

You seem to forget that beneath the flowers

Beneath the ground

In the bottom are the remains

The pieces of me

Too far to see

One day, like the wind even I will flee

Just like love did with lack in glee

Cut my heart and watch it bleed

Till there’s nothing left of me

Let it fall upon my cold dead feet

With no heart, the hatred will let me feast

We run in the land of the deceased

Or is that the wholeness in me?

It won’t let me breathe!

The shadow carries me underneath

Where the judgement has been said

In the land of the dead
