Midnight Rain

Midnight Rain

A Poem by Damon Favreau

Glass of the window,

Thudding with taps,

Through nature it goes,

And upon the glass it Wraps.

Wanting inside,

This place that I abide,

The liquid outside,

Doth fall imperfect stride.

It pierces my lungs,

With it's fine cold dew,

It falls on my tongue,

And hits my skin too.

And when I'm feeling sad,

And all hope is lost,

It makes me feel glad,

That on me it drops.

This is my favorite poem by you yet, the rain truly is wonderful…especially when it can bring joy to one’s soul. I enjoyed the description, and I could picture the rain…I wish it was raining.
