Aw, so good to hear you're happily busy. ^-^ May it continue to be so...And senior year hmm? Have a blast (I'm sure you shall have nothing less)!

And, if I may be so bold to ask, what is this show you hint at?
Could it be an art show? I am dizzy with curiosity...*laughs*

Always feel free to suggest bands/artist/songs you know and love. Seems we were cut from the same musical cloth so chances are I'll love 'em too. :)

Love that song (in your status)! Sometimes I want to stomp my feet and demand my money back too when life is less than glorious. ;D

I hope your busy-ness is not of the unpleasant nature...but at this time of the year it is not uncommon (just started classes today and yikes! so not ready for this semester).

I do have a facebook (amazingly too: wanted to delete it more than a few times) but I don't often post my writing up there and those that I do are short/cleaned up/for my grandmother. *laughs*

I hope you had a fabulous summer! Here's to the remaining year being just as wonderful. ^-^

Texas born and bred. ^-^ I've moved around a bit but I'm back in the lone star state at present.

Bah, boys will be boys...
As a young single woman, I say enjoy your singleness while you can! Start on the serious stuff when the guys are a little bit older and can handle themselves like gentlemen.

My summer bucket list is rather pathetic right now actually. Survive at the top of the list, written in bold and underlined. *laughs*
I would like to get my super 8 film developed and some artwork framed and put on my walls...anything else would just be icing on the cake. What are your plans?

Old souls to the end! Well you and your friend sound like you have a crazy/beautiful relationship. May you continue to sing 80's songs in your beat up car while driving barefoot for many years to come. :)

I've been out to Cali a few time but oddly enough never made it out to the beach, even for a peek. One day I suppose.

And I'm no relationship expert, but it sounds like you know what your about. It's just like those pesky emotions to complicate everything! *laughs* I'm actually of your mind on the whole "not going to invest until I'm 100% sure". I like being single. I really do. I know it sounds pathetic, but relationships are so complicated and just drain you. I just haven't met anyone with whom it would all be worth it. ;) Besides, guys are still immature at this age. I'm biding my time... *laughs*

I'm a bit of an experimental child too. First girl and all...Having a giant family isn't for everyone. It was never the plan for my parents, but they took what they were given. *laughs* Family is crazy no matter the size. You love 'em, you hate 'em; they're yours in the end.

Old souls to the end! I heard someone say once that when people say they like old movies, they really just mean that they like good movies. I think that works with all things of the past. We don't like old, or vintage things just because they're old or vintage (though that could be part of the charm). We like them because they're "good"; because their beauty has ushered us into a world that, otherwise, we could never have been a part of.

I think a beach day is a marvelous idea for low spirits. I went with some friends a few weeks back and shot some film with my very old super-8 camera. I'm not really the beach bum type, but it is relaxing when you're with the right people. May the summer show all it's best colors for you to capture and pin down with words. :)

Long distant relationships of any nature are hard but your situation definitely justifies this sadness. Is it closure you want, or a new start(if I may ask)?

So you're a firstborn, hmm? ;D Have you ever read the "Birth Order Book"? Sooo interesting and almost scary accurate.
But yes, seven brother is quite a bit. I'm actually the fourth of eleven (yep, three sisters too), and the firstborn girl.
I know people tend to judge my parents when they hear that number, but in their defense I originally was supposed to be the last. Didn't quite pan out like that...*laughs*
And even though I felt a bit like a freak in a freak-show when I was younger, and sometimes envy those in solitary confinement...I wouldn't give even one back.

Best of luck to you in your writing endeavor! That may be just the thing to get you going with the pen.

My deepest sympathies regarding your illness. There was a little something-something going around in these here parts a couple weeks ago and it was pretty either. Drink lots of liquids and watch sappy movies/old musical! *laughs* That always does the trick with me.

And what is this boy trouble you hint at? I have loads of brothers (seven actually) so I'm always eager to here what new mischief the opposite sex is causing in young ladies hearts.

And no worries about "dumping".
"Confession is good for the soul", even if all your confessing is "I had a really sucky day".

My internship is nothing so glamorous as all that.
Interning all summer at my church here. Lots of paper and lots of kids involved. Things get crazy. ;D
But at least it'll keep me busy this summer.
Yes, I'm that sorry sap that, two days after school, is already going crazy with boredom. It's likely a clinical disease. *laughs*

In the writing department I have a good number of ideas and all of them are competing for the total 5mins I currently have to write in. Needless to say, not much is getting written.
One day...^-^

Had sort of a bum day today actually. Interning this summer and went a bit crazy with the printer... :S
Not that you would care to know anything about that. *laughs*

Other than that, I'm just peachy.
