Ode To Loneliness

Ode To Loneliness

A Poem by Damon Favreau

Sweet pain; blissful unease;

Soft, bitter, silent tease.

Like a cactus in the desert,

Miles away from anything...

Miles away from everything...

A sandy dessert;

Spilled milk or dropped ice cream.

Reaching like a dead tree's

branches to the gentle moon,

Bring me too my knees

And make me swoon.

The first stanza was then greatest. Strangely, I love the feeling of loneliness. It can be a blessing with you grow in with seven brothers and sisters.

This may sound odd but i love the texture of this piece...it was as though it touched my soul. I could feel the sandy desert and the soft, bitter, silent tease. I could feel your pain and loneliness....and i wish that i could take it away from you. I wish that i can fill every corner and inch of you with infinte amount of joy, so that you never feel lonely. But i must say one good thing came out of feeling this way, you just created the most beautiful poetry. It was so touching to read. You keep leaving me breathless and astonished...infact you have inspired me. And i mean that in the normal and good way. i am always here for you. i promise.
