THAT SONG FOR NO ONE

THAT SONG FOR NO ONE

A Poem by hanir
"

I came up with this pointless prose after listening to a song about lament of a lost love.

"

THAT SONG FOR NO ONE
As I was going through every line,
You were the only person I had in mind.
Every word in this song of lament,
says perfectly what my heart speaks at this moment.
But since you're obviously gone..
Well I guess I'll just gonna partake this song for no one.

You captured my exact feelings beautifully!! Sometimes our everyday thoughts are pointless, but make us feel the greatest emotions. Nice work!!

Thanks for the review. 😊
....bedsitter people look back and lament, another day's useless energy spent...moody blues...beautiful poem!! write what you feel till you don't feel it anymore.sometimes numbness and walls other times brashness and balls.

And I will keep reading...hoping for a day when things become a little less painful for you.

:) Always!!
Wonderfully captured and not at all pointless. That feeling of no longer sharing and knowing can be all consuming, but the echoes in your heart and mind keep reverberating what used to be.
Great ending.
