Freedom

Freedom

A Poem by Mir

She ran like the wind,
finally losing her cool.
Blowing up like a bomb,
she fled like a cheetah.
She needed to breathe.
She got far enough away,
took a deep breath;
Freedom.

Raw emotion and power, and nice use of imagery. I can imagine myself there, or even watching her. Well written :)

I know such women, they see a trap at every corner, beneath every streetlight. Nice poem!

Freedom=losing your 'cool'.

That is a great way to put it.
