White Walls

I'm probably going to go back later on and touch this up at some point.

Sight filled by white walls.

Emptiness except for me. 

Nothing but silence.

there is such a separateness to the lines...

gaps, gaps, gaps...

how we often feel when we feel empty inside, or crazy...secluded from others..

this reminds me of the separateness expressed by emily dickinson in her poem "i felt a funeral in my brain"--

white walls could be asylum walls, but allegorically they could be that white space waiting to be filled with color or just something.

This doesn't need touching up at all! It's straight to be point, short, and seems a bit personal but I think everyone can relate to it and put a vision in their head of what you're talking about. It definitely took me back to some memories.

Those are the best poems, to me. The ones that are short, personal, and so touching that a couple of words can bring true tears to your eyes or a smile to your lips.

Short, simple, but effective :) and that's awesome.

I don't think it needs any touching up! It's raw and different, and in that way, I feel it evokes emotion in a way that can't be described. This was wonderful. Short and to the point, but it carries so much in its few words.
