One More Time

Here I go again; trying to achieve

           a much needed alliance

To fight my depression and loneliness

Yes! I want you back

           affirm our love   

When others find it usless

           I find you a challenge

Each time I ask you for dinner -- NO!

Each time I try to please you -- NO!

 

Well here I go again, I feel

          like a merry - go - round

I know we are human beings

I know you love poetry

I know you're not making this easy

 

So here goes, I can't believe --

in the middle of the park

on one knee, reciting

Rose are red, violets are blue

with my whole heart

I do love you -- marry me

tony, I really like this poem, the flow is wisping,
it is silver, i can see it being gold with a few revisions,
most of it is beautiful, but seems like it gets a little weak
and stumbles, if you could sharpen this, it would be top notch.
as it is now, excellent, and I really enjoyed reading.
let me know if you revise it.
