Serums & Scents

A Poem by Alford G. Harris

SERUMS & SCENTS
(03.17.08)

A native passion,
Incensed and alit with,
Enthusiasms and,
Enchantments,
Her body chants rhythmic,
His attraction to Her,
Mystic,
On the verge of an,
Altruistic existence,

This femme phenomenal,
She naturally emits,
The richest of an alchemist's dream potion,
The power of which,
Overrides his desires,
Generating and driving his fire,
He is immediately transformed,
Now a lover and a fighter,
Willing to fight death,
To love Her with,
All his might,

She is His despite,
The undefined opinions and jeers from all others,
Our fathers and mothers cannot decide,
Who will love us,
Them and those whose energies spark and collide,
Exploding the globe,
Bringing the world new life,

Of course She is wife,
She is also mistress and other misses,
Ms. Hugs and Kisses,
As Her chocolate bouquet blooms,
Freshening the room with her sweet aromas,
She is every woman,
His entities each,
Consumed.

Wow! How awesome! I love the lyrical dance
...carries you off onto the floor. Great imagery
that blossomed in the end.
Totally enjoyed this piece!
