in an attempt to kill the silence around
her mouth decided to dance
and as my ears blurred out the sound
my eyes acted as if her words made sense.

we both know that advice was never meant for me
but for her own empathy to be publicly seen
funny how quickly we become skilled
when feeling like an answer is due
pretending to excel in topics we never knew
just to reassure our brain his part of the job is through.

but you see, friend, it's okay.
the score is even, one of us gets help anyway
my troubles will have plenty of time to make me paranoid
for now let's just try filling your emotional void.

I like the logical ending. You twisted the words to a entertaining conversation. Sometimes we need our own to know what is right or wrong. Thank you for sharing your amazing words and thoughts.

"funny how quickly we become skilled
when feeling like an answer is due"

I just love these lines. They bear an inherent truth about how we act when we are told straight up what we need to improve on, for instance. Why can't we learn to look into ourselves and fix our own problems before someone else has to inform us? This really provoked my thoughts; the same goes for the entire poem.

Great work!
