Transformation

Transformation

A Poem by Ksenia Kazantseva
"

watch it live.

"
souls.
our morals - allies with our heart.
we're hungry.
our actions necessary - behaviour animalistic.
we feed.
can be bread - can be tamed.
but born.
we are the same - animals.
our tendencies evolutionary - turn greedy.
we tear.
ripping each other apart for we are hungry - emotionally.
glutinous, we continue.
until nothing remains.
sad in sorrow at what we have become.
humans.

Wanting is NOT the same as admitting WHO we want... let alone whys.

O - M - freaking - G this is good! My only critique is that the second "hungry" is more powerful than the first, to which I suggest (if I may) that you find a different word with which to substitute the first. For repetitions should be done for emphasis that adds power to the poem as a whole while providing more insight to what the piece is doing. And though the second "hungry" IS more powerful than the first, it just comes across as a reiteration than an emphatic repetition. But everything else is sublime! (maybe play with commas as well, but that's your choice). Well done!
