Red Like Lace

Red Like Lace

A Poem by Cassia Sidra
"

Gauntlets, red like lace, blue like veins...

"
Red like lace and blue like veins,
Thin-spread o'er a torturous rack,
A veil, a bloody veil, obscures
And hides and curtains, fades to black
A soul clutching a million chains.

The veil, a perfect compliment,
Accompanied, in scarlet bright,
By gauntlets, likewise fine and lace.
She cradles close throughout the night
The hell from which her clothes were sent.

So this is a descript of a woman wearing a veil and such. Correct me if I'm wrong. I like the way you paint an image, though I still just see her standing there,"a soul clutching a million chains." Good line.
