Monday mornings

Monday mornings

A Poem by Richard Hoover
"

Wrote this one in class it's kinda meh

"

Monday  mornings make me want to spill out my guts on this bedroom floor. Don't  worry you can put down the phone I'm just speaking in metaphor.

This mirror  reminds me of you. Or it did till it became cracked with a sudden outburst of misguided art direction.

I wish I could say that I hope you don't someday want me back but honestly at this point I would want nothing more then that

They say if you really cared for someone you won't think of them on those lonely Tuesday night's. But in that late afternoon  daylight when your schedule is full but you'd rather just be back with them in a time where you didn't cry by using a pen.
