Northern Twilight

Northern Twilight

A Poem by MCS

Twilight in Bear Lake

creaky docks

ramshackle cottages

and marina

soot coloured sky

always the sound

of lapping water

and the nightly ballet

of darting bats

the woods and waterfront

are alive with sounds

occasionally silver

orb look on

when clouds part
