Lament

Lament

A Poem by MCS
"

There is no greater sorrow than to recall happiness in times of misery. ~ Dante Alighieri

"

These days I avoid the mirror

For all I see is my sorrow

The past year has been unbearable

Today’s headline sums up our dead

Canada has surpassed 20,000 deaths

Some of us mourn our dead

Others take to the streets

And protest the weak quarantine measures

That have aided in our losses

We need to seek joy and never give up hope ...always look to the light and then the darkness cannot get in 🌹

maybe when there are only two people left on this earth, those two will take it seriously and social distance.
